From the cradle to the grave, the first and last events of a human being’s life involves some form of prayer. Whether as a personal prayer, as part of corporate or congregational prayer, or as the beneficiary of the prayers of others, it is inescapable. To some extent, prayer is on every page of an individual’s life, no matter the extent or nature of his or her history.
